WELCOME TO JUST A MINUTE!
RADIO SEASON 9 1974-1975

Season length:
27 shows.

Chairman:
Nicholas Parsons.

Regular Panellists:
Kenneth Williams (21 shows), Derek Nimmo (21 shows), Peter Jones (21 shows), Clement Freud (20 shows).

Semi-regular Panellists:
Andree Melly (eight shows), Sheila Hancock (eight shows), Barry Cryer (four shows).

Guest Panellists:
Jean Marsh (two shows), Alfred Marks (two shows), Aimi Macdonald (one show).

Making A Debut:
Barry Cryer.

Commentary:
Production is split three ways but John Lloyd is the coming man. The four regulars alternate almost completely evenly except for what seems to have been a late decision to record an extra show to allow the season to go an extra week. The other show from the recording was held over until the next season. There is something of a samey feel with only Barry Cryer debuting, but his debut is a big success. The calling of an October election means shows with Clement in them have to wait for a while.
