Commentary:
These shows were recorded towards the end of 1983, and the start of 1984 and it seems certain that at the time it was expected that they would all run in 1984. But the Beeb cut the 1984 offerings of 10 shows, with the remaninder running in 1985. The shows themselves are good fun with Kenneth especially prominent. But there are signs that maybe the time was approaching when a shake-up might be needed. A new approach to the theme music, even slower than before, is in place for three years.
