WELCOME TO JUST A MINUTE!
RADIO SEASON 7 1972-1973

Season length:
26 shows.

Chairman:
Nicholas Parsons.

Regular Panellists:
Clement Freud (all shows), Kenneth Williams (all shows), Peter Jones (22 shows).

Semi-regular Panellists:
Derek Nimmo (eight shows), Sheila Hancock (eight shows), Aimi Macdonald (eight shows), Andree Melly (six shows).

Guest Panellists:
None.

Making A Debut:
None.

Commentary:
Derek Nimmo's return from his sabattical obviously causes a logjam for places and it is Peter Jones that does far more shows than Derek. However the season does produce the first appearances together of the gang of four, the four players to have appeared most often who are the foundation of the show's success. Sheila, Aimi and Andree alternate around them. One gets the feeling that the show is now hitting its peak with a great relationship between the seven who know each other so well, and a top mix of banter, humour and occasionally competition. There's also a new rendition of the theme song with a slower rendition of the Minute Waltz at the beginning.
