WELCOME TO JUST A MINUTE! RADIO SEASON 28 1994-1995 |
||||||
Season length: 11 shows. Chairman: Nicholas Parsons. Regular Panellists: Peter Jones (eight shows), Derek Nimmo (seven shows), Paul Merton (seven shows). Semi-regular Panellists: Tony Hawks (five shows), Clement Freud (four shows), Kit Hesketh-Harvey (three shows). Guest Panellists: Jenny Eclair (two shows), Jeremy Hardy (two shows), Steve Frost (two shows), Wendy Richard (one show), Stephen Fry (one show), Lee Simpson (one show), Hugh Dennis (one show). Making A Debut: Steve Frost. Commentary: Two shows held over from the previous season, produced by Sarah Smith, join those produced by new producer Anne Jobson. Anne's style was to have for most shows, two of the gang, joined by either Paul or Tony Hawks and a guest, with the variation at Edinburgh of having four of the five regulars. It works, providing a backbone of strong players, and many of the guests are top talent too. The show with Stephen Fry is the only one-show recording (apart from the hour long special in 2003) since the first season. Apparently the original intention had been to have an hour-long Christmas special, but in the end the episode was half an hour as usual. 444/28/1 Click here for transcript Broadcast date: 24 December 1994.
