Making A Debut:
Craig Ferguson, Alistair McGowan, Richard Morton, Caroline Quentin, Tony Slattery, Jim Sweeney.

Commentary:
One of the better seasons with Paul at his best and now clearly the leading man with Clement, Peter and Derek as very good back-up. Tony Slattery debuts, a man who was to go on to have a big role in the TV versions of the show. Sarah Smith seems to be experimenting but none of the debutants went on to do much on the radio version of the show anyway.
