Commentary:
An excellent season which generated a great deal of interest when David Tennant spoke for an uninterrupted minute in his first show. It was widely reported as a first, although it had actually been done several times before. Still it was a public relations success. The season also included the 100th appearance by Sheila Hancock. A top rank season.
